Clayton Kershaw’s wife Ellen Kershaw (formerly Ellen Melson) is a graduate of Texas A&M with a degree in communications. But, Communications doesn’t seem to be her top priority in the world. At one point in her life, she was taking annual summer trips to Zambia.  The trips are as part of her association with “Camp Life.”  Camp Life is a religious aid mission, which Ellen happily volunteers. Seth Maness' girlfriend Coleman Cox created a bit of a firestorm during Game 3 of the 2014 NLCS. Maness, the Cardinals reliever came in to pitch a 1-2-3 ninth inning before sending the game to extra frames. In the next inning, the Giants won in walk off fashion on a throwing error by the pitcher relieving Maness, in Randy Choate. Pulling Maness was a questionable decision as many cardinal fans, including Bravo's Andy Cohen, took to Twitter to voice their displeasure with the decision. Executive director of MLBPA, Michael Weiner passed away Thursday at the age of 51. Michael Weiner's wife, Diane Weiner and their three children surrounded Weiner at their New Jersey home at the time of his passing. Weiner was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor in August 2012, though managed to work while receiving radiation and chemotherapy. Michael Weiner will be succeeded by Tony Clark who began serving as deputy in July, 2013. Michael and Diane Weiner met in second grade at Lenox Elementary School in Pompton Lakes, New Jersey. The couple did not begin dating until college, while he was attending Williams undergrad, and she was at Mount Holyoke. Fortunately the 90 minute drive through Western Massachusetts served no obstacle as the two were married shortly after college in 1986. They have three daughters together; Margie, Grace and Sally. Man, Will Middlebrooks is racking up one hell of an impressive resume. In somewhat of a throwaway line from an article in the Boston Globe from December 15, the world has officially learned that Will Middlebrooks and girlfriend Jenny Dell have taken things to the next level. Dell, the Red Sox field/sideline reporter for NESN, has been rumored to have been dating Middlebrooks since this summer, but was not confirmed. Many do question whether Jenny Dell dating one of the players she covers presents a conflict of interest. However, it appears that NESN is ok with their relationship, extending Dell another contract, and fully aware that the couple is living together.
