Colby Cave’s wife Emily Cave is an incredible woman.  Colby Cave passed away from a brain bleed at the age of 25, which shocked the hockey community.  Following the tragic and sudden passing of her husband, Emily took to Instagram to try to reconcile her feelings throughout the ordeal. Colby and Emily got engaged in the 2018 offseason before tying the knot the following year.

David Anthony Backes (born May 1, 1984) is an American professional ice hockey forward currently playing for the Anaheim Ducks of the National Hockey League (NHL). Brent Burns’ wife Susan Burns is a massive San Jose Sharks fan, as you might have imagined. The couple live in the San Jose area, and she goes to all the games. She hangs out with what she calls the “Lady Sharks” in the box where they all sit. They recently made some shark teeth and posed for a pretty cool photo that she captioned: “ready to take a bite out of our next opponent.” It’s good to get into sports, Susan. It's been pointed out before by The New York Rangers Blog that Brad Richards' output dropped like a rock in 2012 after his breakup with screen vixen Olivia Munn. His first 39 games he scored 15 goals, and then his next 88 games after the breakup he scored 26 total. Coincidence? Maybe he had an injury or something (or a wounded heart). Well he's got himself a new lady, and Brad Richards' girlfriend Rechelle Jenkins now sports a nice diamond engagement ring. He proposed to her on a beach in the Bahamas a few months back. Classic hockey-player engagement maneuver. He almost opted for the more creative approach of dressing her up as a goalie and slap-shotting the ring at her, but walking on a beach is also fine. Alexander Steen’s girlfriend Josefine Olson is in the business of making little furry friends go to sleep. In other words, she works at an animal clinic! She is also not interested in posting pictures of herself on the internet, apparently, but we’ve managed to find what we believe to be a couple anyway. Josefine began as an animal paramedic in 2004 and started working at the animal clinic in Sundsvall, Sweden in 2009. For those of you that understand Swedish, the official name of the clinic is Djursjukhuset Sundsvall (also known as the keyboard-mashing clinic). In 2013, Josefine went on leave from the animal clinic to join Alexander in St. Louis, which he says has really boosted his mindframe and confidence. Hopefully she doesn’t administer animal drugs to him when he gets severe concussions like the one he absorbed in the 2011-2012 season. He’s friends with retired 7-time all-star Paul Kariya and stayed him in in California during that time, which he felt very uncertain about. But ...

I am sure that Brian Gionta's wife Harvest Gionta is a lovely woman. Hell, I'm sure Brian Gionta is a nice guy,... But I have to hate him. As a University of Maine grad, I had to spend four years watching him easily dismantle my Black Bears during his ridiculously impressive four years at Boston College. As a Bruins fan, I had to see him half a dozen times a year during his seven years with the Devils.... and now, of course he's joined the hated rival Candiens. Like I said, sure he's a nice enough guy, but I can't possibly root harder against this cat. Now most people don't dislike the Canadiens center quite like me. One of the two shortest players in the entire league, he's made plenty of fans with his equal parts skill and grit play. And as a player dedicated to the third city to truly embrace him, Brian and Harvest Gionta are growing roots in the city.
