Long's wife lashes out at 'sick' fans who abused striker after goal against West Brom

Shane Long’s wife has attacked the ‘sick’ and ‘vile’ West Bromwich Albion fans who verbally abused her husband as he was walking with their infant daughter outside the KC Stadium.

Kayleah Long said four-year-old Teigan was reduced to tears after the Hull striker was sworn at by supporters of his former club following the game which the visitors lost 2-0.

Long won a controversial penalty which Liam Rosenior scored on the rebound and then added a second with a smart finish on the volley.
