The bumps don't lie—Shakira is a proud mama once again!
The Colombian-born singer and former coach of The Voice has given birth to her second child, the second son for her and longtime love Gerard Piqué, in Spain.
She announced the arrival of her son, Sasha Piqué Mebarak, on her website and explained the meaning behind his name.
"The name Sasha is of Greek and Russian descent and means 'defender of mankind' and 'warrior,'" her blog states.
Sasha arrived Thursday night via C-section at hospital Quirón-Teknon de Barcelona. Sacha joins big brother Milan in the family fold.
Although Shakira kept a fairly low profile during her second pregnancy, which was first revealed in August, the 37-year-old blonde beauty has always been open about her plans to expand her family.
"I would love to have eight or nine kids with Gerard," she told Latina magazine. "My own fútbol team." Pretty ambitious, right?

It was Shakira's own mother who spilled the beans about the sex of baby No. 2, reportedly saying in Barcelona, "Es otro varoncito." Or, it's another boy.
Helping to make motherhood wonderful for the "Whenever, Wherever" singer is her supportive man. After having Milan, Shakira couldn't help but gush about her soccer-stud boyfriend's parenting style.
"He is very involved with his son," she shared with Hello! about Piqué. "He is always there for him, and that's a big advantage for me as I cannot imagine it any other way."
And while Shakira has the nicest things to say about the soccer stud, fans should still accept the fact that a wedding may not be happening anytime soon. But don't worry, their relationship totally works for them!
"We already have what's essential, you know? We have a union, a love for each other, and a baby," she explained. "I think that those aspects of our relationship are already established, and marriage is not going to change them. But if I'm ever going to get married, he's the one."
Instead of wedding plans, the months ahead will be focused on the two youngest dudes in the household. And knowing Shakira, it will be hard for her to keep any big moments a secret from her fans.
"When you have a baby, when you feel his love, you feel so at peace with the world," she shared. "You just want to share the good news and share how happy you feel."
